Hotel London: James Bond Style..

His name is Bond, James Bond and he is looking for a hotel in London for a special mission - to spend a fabulous weekend in the best city in the world. So where should aspiring 007s spend the weekend? Which London hotels are stylish and exciting enough? James Bond was of course an international man of mystery who regularly travelled the world, but his spiritual, physical and fictional home was always London, perhaps because his creator Ian Fleming was born in the UK capital. According to Fleming, 007 spent many a night in Hotels London. London seems like a popular destination including The Ritz Hotel in Green Park. One of world's truly great hotels, The Ritz is legendary for luxury and style. Bond stayed at The Ritz in Diamonds are Forever, where he could seduce beautiful ladies and play roulette in the casino! As a member of her majesty's secret service, James Bond must always look immaculate and this he does by buying his clothes from Savile Row (Dr No). Not only is this area the place to come to be suited and booted, it is also home to the Aston Martin showroom and Spymaster shop. Bond's creator Ian Fleming was totally at home here and was a regular visitor to Dukes Hotel, where it is said he created the legendary line "shaken not stirred" while drinking a Martini at the hotel bar. When Daniel Craig became the latest James Bond, we saw him racing in a speedboat along the Thames. Why not stay at The Savoy Hotel and recreate this scene yourself? The wonderfully grand Savoy is very close to the headquarters of MI6 - where Bond not only fights off Miss Moneypenny's advances but also picks up his instructions from M. You can also book a RIB Voyages high speed boar trip up the Thames.
